Sanatan Shiv Shakit Mandir of Houston celebrates Hindu greates utsav "Shravan Maas" (Shravan Month 2010" at 5645, Hillcroft Ave. # 701, Houston, Texas 77036

Shravan Maas start from tuesday, 10th August 2010. Shravana Masam or Shravan month or Shravana masam, also known as Sawan mahina, is very auspicious Hindu month. Each and everyday during the Shravana Mas has some significance. Especially, Shravan Somvar (Mondays in Shravan month) are most auspicious which are solely dedicated to Lord Shiva. During this months devotees avoide eating non veg., drinks and other non-relilgious activity.

Activity and Schedule

Here Sanatan Shiv Shakit Mandir of Houston, celebration of the Shravan Maas with following activity

1. 10th August, 2010:
• 12:00 Morning, Daily Aarti and Darshan
• Mahapooja starts at 5:30 PM
• Aarti at 7:30 PM
• Mahaprasad served at 8:30 PM
2. Every monday of Shravan Maas
• 12:00 Morning, Daily Aarti and Darshan
• Aarti, Mahapooja and Mahaprasad will be served at 8:30 PM
• Thandai Prassad on all monday!

Sanatan Shiv Shakit Mandir of Houston invites entire Hindu community and devotees at the Shiv-Shakti Mandir and get the blessing from the Aadi Dev Shree Majadevji and Maa Shree Parvatiji-Jagadamika.
