   In Hiduism, Pujas and other rituals are explained in Vedam. We offer all creations / Padaippu of God to His feet before we consume OR eat . But here we are pouring on the head. Is it correct. Someone who read puja Rituals can comment . What I Understand is God Is the Very high level /Supreme level of Athma. A man can also reach close to that level by Dapam. We believe that statue is not a simple stone. It is different from other stone. Pouring Curd and milk on the head of the God is correct OR Offering at His feet is correct
