It is said that the size of Patidars heart in comparison to other Gujaratis is a bit bigger. Here is the one more example of Patel living in America but he is still connected with his village and villagers. This inspired him to help people by donating Bal Vatika at Bhatiel.
Shri Manibhai Ravjibhai Patel and his family have strong feelings about their village and villagers. This year (2009) they went to India and they got the idea to make a play ground for the children of Bhatiel and they donated the play ground called "Bal Vatica" for children of Bhatiel. They also founded Kesarben Ravjibhai Patel Health Foundation for free medical treatments (Rs 5.00 only) for Bhatiel Villagers. This clinic was inaugurated in January of 2008, in memory of the Late Shrimati Kesharben Ravjibhai Patel (mother of Shri Manibhai Ravjibhai Patel). The clinic was inaugurated by Shri Mangalbhai Babubhai Patel and Parivar and Balvatica was inaugurated by Petlad Taluka MLA Shri Niranjanbhai P. Patel.
