21st March 2010 at Patidar Hall, California 90280, Unites States, baby shower ceremony taken place for beautiful Jasmina Bhavesh Patel (Jesarva). As we know baby shower, is the blessing for married woman! It is a ceremony that celebrates the first pregnancy of the bride of the house and it is held in the seventh month of pregnancy. Jasmina is dressed in bridal wear.
Ceremony ritual begins with Ganesh puja and they sing traditional songs and make great festive atmosphere! Jasmina sits on a Baajath (four-legged wooden seat) and a small red dot is puted on her forehead. Khoro (the Paalav of her Saari) filled by Ramilaben (mother-in-law) and Lilaben (mother) coconut, gifts and jeweler. Younger brother-in-law will have tilak on his forehead and he slapped to Jasmina Bhavesh Patel as per one of Gujarati Hindu Patidar tradition.
Ceremony ends with the blessings from elders and delicious Gujarati food. They also played some funny games that made everybody enjoy the ceremony.
Jasmina and Bhavesh grateful to received bless, love and support from her family who made ceremony unforgettable by decoration, cakes and baloons.
