Here i am able to see some people still believing in  that rubbish aryans theory(Given by mischievous English men).
We are the ancient civilization in the world, there are lots of proof and theories given in our vedas and puranas(Mythological believes).
On the other hands gradually world is able to see how the Krishana period exist (3000-4000 BC),In a scientific way.
If people dont believe in these things,Do some homework to get to know our true history.
Just dont believe in rubbish written pages by some western researchers.

This is clear that our countrys name is either HINDUSTAN or BHARAT and definitely not INDIA.  India term must be the brain-child of the Romans or the Britishers. Because we know the meaning of HINDUSTAN and BHARAT as well. But what does India mean???

i m really sad to say tht even our country is incredible but still there are many believing in religion and caste discrimination. as stated above by one of the person tht it belongs to hindus thts y its hindustan. really ridiculous. name doesnt matters but wat matters is the unity - no Hindu, no Muslim, no Sikh, no christian, etc - just an indian.
yes, and if there is a discussion of countrys name then bharat - the best of all ought to be the best as its creates no discrimination on the basis of religion,etc. one thing more greeks never said or forced us to change the countrys name to india, it were romans who kept this name but they also didnt forced us, we ourselves agreed. at last, y proud to be an indian , just cause its a garbage dump, it has corruptions, crimes even in front of laws,etc. our bharat has all the qualities but these lll things makes our country a untidy land. i love my country!!! hope all do so.

This country primarily belongs to HINDUS and ideologically the name should be HINDUSTAN like muslims named the X HINDUSTAN to pakistan. The name HINDUSTAN is our identity & how cum some one changes it to INDIA?. I strongly believe that the name should be HINDUSTAN. Our government should take some action to bring back our lost identity....

India was originally an arid wasteland with shrubs and forests all around.  That used to be prior to the entry of Dravidians who crossed over from Hindukush mountains in to the Indus valley and areas around it. Hindukush literally means ‘slaughter of Hindus’ possibly by Muslims. Dravidians were quite civilized, gentle but a timid lot. With the establishment of the country which included the undivided territories, they were known as Indians and referred to as such by the foreigners.

However, the name ‘India’ has no resemblance or significance to the Hindu religion which belief was followed not only by those settling in India, but by their forefathers as well who perished at the hands of Muslims or stayed put in other parts of Asia and adjoining areas. 

Ever since India has been referred to as such but has no link to the religion followed by most people who followed it. However, there was no count of people or any census undertaken then to place Hindus as the majority occupying the territory. As such India is a name achieved on the basis of their first ever settlement at the Indus Valley but went on surviving as people who originally moved out of the Indus.

Hiii everyone, i wanna ask one thing what does India mean ?? Who named India ? From the above explanation i am not satisfied completely. Can someone tell me clearly ??? Its a place of Hindus thats why its called Hindustan & Bharat came from king Bharat. But what about India ??? Plz tell .......... Am waiting for the replies ...
